The integration of technology into education has become a crucial factor in improving teaching effectiveness and student engagement. This study aims to investigate the role of technology in supporting the implementation of Merdeka Belajar at UPT SMP Negeri 7 Turatea of Jeneponto, focusing on its impact on instructional strategies and student learning outcomes. Utilizing a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach, data were collected using purposive sampling. The validity and reliability of research instruments were tested through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and Cronbach’s Alpha to ensure accurate measurement and consistency. Findings reveal that technology significantly enhances the teaching-learning process by fostering student engagement, supporting interactive learning, and improving educational accessibility. Various digital tools, online learning platforms, and multimedia resources play a crucial role in promoting independent and student-centered learning. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, technical difficulties, and digital access disparities hinder seamless implementation. The study highlights the need for comprehensive teacher training and policy support to optimize the integration of technology in the Merdeka Curriculum.
