Authors Guidelines and Manuscript Preparation Instructions
ISA Publisher welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and other scholarly contributions across relevant academic disciplines. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below before submitting their manuscripts for editorial consideration.
Adherence to these manuscript preparation instructions helps ensure a smooth review, editorial, and publication process.
1. Language
Only manuscripts written in English are accepted for publication. Authors are encouraged to ensure that their manuscripts are clear, grammatically correct, and carefully proofread before submission.
2. Page Format
Manuscripts should be prepared as Microsoft Word documents and must follow the formatting requirements below:
- Paper size: A4
- Margins: 1 inch on all four sides
- Line spacing: 1.15
- Layout: Single-column format
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size: 12 pt
- References and tables should maintain appropriate spacing, with two spaces between lines
- Tables and images should be arranged according to their order of appearance in the manuscript
- The complete manuscript text should not exceed 30 printed pages
- Manuscripts exceeding the page limit may incur additional publication fees
Authors should ensure that all tables, figures, images, and illustrations are properly numbered and clearly presented.
3. Manuscript Title
The manuscript title should be clear, concise, descriptive, and relevant to the content of the research. Authors are encouraged to use a title that accurately reflects the main subject and focus of the study.
4. Author Information
The manuscript should include complete author information, including:
- Full name(s) of all author(s)
- Institutional affiliation(s)
- Email address(es)
- Phone number(s)
Maximum Author Limit: A manuscript may include up to four (4) authors under the standard publication arrangement. Additional authors may incur additional fees.
The corresponding author should be clearly identified and will serve as the primary contact during the editorial and publication process.
5. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should provide a concise overview of the research, including the purpose, methodology, major findings, and conclusion where applicable.
- The abstract should not exceed 150 words
- Authors should provide at least five (5) keywords
- Keywords should be relevant to the subject and content of the manuscript
- Abbreviations and unfamiliar terms should be avoided where possible or clearly explained
6. Introduction
The introduction should provide a clear and concise background to the study. It should explain the research problem, significance of the study, objectives, and the key issues being addressed.
Authors should ensure that the introduction provides sufficient context for readers to understand the purpose and relevance of the research.
7. Materials and Methods
This section should clearly describe the materials, procedures, methods, techniques, and approaches used in conducting the study.
The methodology should contain sufficient information to enable readers to understand how the research was conducted.
8. Results and Discussion
Authors may present the Results and Discussion as separate sections or combine them into a single Results and Discussion section, depending on the nature of the research.
Results should be presented clearly and accurately, while the discussion should interpret the findings and explain their significance in relation to the objectives of the study and existing literature.
9. Acknowledgments
The acknowledgments section should recognize individuals, institutions, organizations, or funding bodies that contributed to the research but do not qualify for authorship.
Authors should include details of:
- Research grants
- Funding support
- Institutional assistance
- Technical support
- Other significant contributions to the research
10. References and Citations
All references should be listed in the final section of the manuscript. References should be arranged consistently and accurately according to the citation style selected for the manuscript or required by the relevant journal.
In-text citations may follow formats such as:
- Single author: (Rahul, S., 2018)
- Multiple authors: (Rahul et al., 2018)
ISA Publisher accepts recognized referencing styles, including:
- APA
- MLA
- Chicago
- Other internationally recognized citation styles appropriate to the discipline
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all references are complete, accurate, and properly cited within the manuscript.
11. Processing Fee
If a manuscript is accepted for publication following the editorial and review process, the author(s) will be required to pay the applicable article processing fee.
Any applicable additional charges, including charges related to extra pages or additional authors, will be communicated to the corresponding author where necessary.
12. Proofreading and Publication
Before final publication, the formatted proof of the accepted manuscript will be sent to the corresponding author for review.
Authors are expected to carefully check the proof for:
- Typographical errors
- Spelling and grammatical errors
- Author information
- Tables and figures
- References and citations
- Formatting issues
- Any other necessary corrections
Authors should return their corrections promptly to the editorial office. Failure to carefully review the proof may result in errors appearing in the final published version.
The editorial department will proceed with the final publication process after receiving the reviewed proof and completing the necessary editorial requirements.
