Slab method is one of the basic hand-building techniques in pottery production. Through it, pottery wares that are different from those of pinch and coil are produced. However; it appears monotonous especially when it turns out almost the same kind of wares. Therefore, this paper looked at slab-strips: a measure of improving on slab technique of pottery production in Nigeria. In caring out the work, studio approach was adopted, several clay slab-strips were made through extrusion; their structural shapes were distorted and constructed to produce slab-strips wares. The method is recommended for Potters to adopt in pottery production.
