Backed by science and technology, the global financial landscape
is undergoing structural transformations as more and more technologies are
being applied to the financial sector. Countries around the world, especially
developing nations, are promoting the development of Fintech as a lever for
socio-economic development. Each country, with its different technological
foundations and economic starting points, will choose different development
directions. Kenya and Vietnam are two developing countries that have clearly
defined Fintech development directions. This research will analyze the Fintech
development policies of Kenya and Vietnam, highlighting similarities and
differences, and assessing the future development prospects of the financial
